Oly OA 48hr Sampling Event
We sampled 96 oysters that were part of Katherine Silliman’s summer project. These oysters were from three locales and had spent about 48 hours in OA treatment (half in contol water). Full sensor data is available here.
We start off slow but sped up by the end of the day.

Three tissues were taken for RNA (ctenidia, mantle, adductor) and snap frozen in liquid nitrogen. Additional ctenidia was stored in EtOH and the remaining body snap frozen. Photos were taken of all oysters. Most were nicely tagged.
Tubes were labelled 1-96 with number ids written down on data sheets. Maturation status was also noted.
